This turbocharged powerplant churns out 300 hp* and 310 lb.-ft. of torque* for spirited drives around town or far from it. The 2.3L EcoBoost I-4 engine comes standard on the Base, XLT, ST-Line, Timberline® and Limited models.

Terrain Management System™
The standard Terrain Management System, on 2WD and Intelligent 4WD Explorer® models, can help tackle any adventure. Up to seven Selectable Drive Modes include Normal, Trail, Deep Snow/Sand (4WD only), Slippery, Sport, Tow/Haul and Eco Mode.

Technology
Pre-Collision Assist® With Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB)
This feature scans the road ahead and can alert you to potential collisions with vehicles or pedestrians detected in your path. If an impact becomes imminent and you don't take corrective action, the brakes can apply automatically. But don't worry - they'll only activate if needed. *
